In response to the challenge of climate change, Earthwatch Australia , with the support of Land & Water Australia , University of Melbourne and the Bureau of Meteorology, has developed ClimateWatch: a climate change monitoring program allowing all Australians to participate with the scientific community in making observations and recording data.

Bureau of Meteorology
The Bureau of Meteorology and CSIRO have entered into a collaborative partnership through a joint research operation agreement to establish the Centre for Australian Weather and Climate Research. The Bureau currently undertakes climate impacts research, including observed changes in Australia’s natural systems and is a key science collaborator in the ClimateWatch program.

The University of Melbourne, School of Forest and Ecosystem Science, has expertise in the identification of robust phenological indicators and the analysis of phenological data. The School has strong links with international organisations which use web-based phenological data collection and is a key science collaborator in the ClimateWatch program. |
